Oh, mine doesnt even sync. Just flashing blue light nothing else.

Try check yours again. Mine stopped syncing shortly after the techs left but came back on this evening and im able to access the vuma store and sign up.

My install team was quick. In fact they phoned me to ask if they can start earlier than the booking yesterday, because they were done early at their previous install.

Well mine arrived over three hours late, but it looks like they should be finished soon...

Edit: I've got a solid blue light. There was a solid orange light, which the installation guy said was the connection indicator, but now it's off?

Edit 2: Now the blue light is flashing alone.

Anyone here actually connected? CellC guys were just here with my modem, but they're now saying that my line hasn't been provisioned yet. I got Vumatel on FB and they're saying that there's a fault in the area. What a complete and utter f#<k-u9*p.

Anyone here actually connected? CellC guys were just here with my modem, but they're now saying that my line hasn't been provisioned yet. I got Vumatel on FB and they're saying that there's a fault in the area. What a complete and utter f#<k-u9*p.

Im connected. Is the fx light on, on your CPE? I was told by a techie that my line couldn't be activated remotely even though the fx light was on after they did the install. That evening i tried plugging into the CPE and going to the vumatel store and it worked so id say its worth a shot trying that if the fx light is on.

No fx light since Friday. Vumatel just called to say tha everything looks fine from their side. These people really need get their S#1t together.

Which area are you in? Stellenridge/Stellenberg is divided up into 4 areas.
Area 1 and 2 is already live.
Area 3 in Stellenridge should go live in this week.
Area 4 will only give live end of August beginning September.

I am in area 3, so expecting a phone call this week to book an install date.
Sent my Telkom line cancellation last week, expecting it to only be cancelled end of August.

I'm on the other side of area 1 (not highlighted), but is already live. Waiting on Vuma to come and do the installation.

So you are probably on AG3 (aggregation point) too, which is faulty, and that is probably only going to be fixed 3rd week of August like I heard initially. So while the install is done, I cant get fibre yet. I just hope it works before end of august, when all my cancellations kick in.
