Roam Cell C To Voda 3G

Hi is there any way to roam cell c to voda 3g network i see it can only roam through voda 2g network so if theres any way please help

Unfortunately, when roaming on to Vodacom you will only get Edge.

Its weird, for the first three months that I had prepaid Cell C I was getting good 3G roaming on Vodacom (I cannot get Cell C here!) and I was downloading about 1Gb a month from my available 2Gb.
Then Cell C sent me the horrible "Connector" Firmware to install....I have since managed to go back to the original Cell C dashboard.
Since that moment I can only get EDGE roaming on Vodacom.....no use complaining to anybody because they all say that is how it is supposed to work!

It must be coincidence. I also managed to get 3G roaming on Vodacom in the past when I was on Virgin, but it lasted for 5 minutes or so.

There was a trick when Virgin first launched in South Africa, you could connect on GSM/EDGE and then use MDMA to switch the connection to '3G Only', but Vodacom fixed that.

It looks like it is still possible when network is not working 100%, protection mechanism is bypassed some way...

Happened to me as well on cellc prepaid about three years or so ago. Was getting cool speeds at cheaper than vodacom pricing for a few days in PE...
