IF somebody is in the UK and roaming on Vodacom, do you use your free/included minutes when calling them if you are sitting the SA?

As far as I know your free minutes do count because they are paying for the international portion of the call. Maybe you should check with 111.

I'm referring to the caller - not the receiver of the call.

Eg. If you call me on 082mynumber and you don't know I'm in the UK - Surely your free minutes are used?

Yes you pay what you dial which is 082 - it makes no different to the calling party where you are as the MTC ticket contains the called party IMSI and is billed to the called party which is free when within your own network.

yes if you dial 082-6968-622 ( one digit 2 many) so made it 082-mynumba

and he is in UK yor minutes will be deducted, and he will pay the international portion

ta.

If you are the vodacom roamer in the UK - does it cost anything to receive a sms? There is no such cost on the vodacom site, but I did pay it recently in the US.

Vodacom repeated 1 sms repeatedly and it cost me R150 :(

No. There is no cost to the receiver. Only when replying
