I missed that


Zerotier and Tailscale do this I think. Not (as) open as SoftEther though.

Nebula also does NAT traversal but doesn't use Wireguard
Where are the Zerotier and Tailscale servers located? Do they have hubs in South Africa? Very reluctant to have my infrastructure access dependent on another cog that's not my own.

No they're not in SA. You can host your own Zerotier server but it is not well documented. The servers though are mainly for nodes to discover each other and establish a peer to peer connection, they don't usually route the actual traffic (although I think they can if there's no other option.)
