Fantastic: power out for the last 2 hours of work yesterday, and off again when I walked into the office this morning. Is there anything we can do in an attempt to force the government to provide better incentives for private entities to generate their own electricity and push back into the grid? This is getting stupid; in my line of work there is basically nothing I can do when the power is out, except write documentation and plan for when the power comes back on.
Where in Bellville are you? Our power is on and I hear no generators so it must be from the grid.

That's my S1 and S3 slot. So rather stay with s2 all day.

Enjoy the ice rink... My kids love it.

It's Friday so I don't mind running the generator until the power is restored tonight.

I object to the Eskom logo in the picture. It would make you think they light up the darkness when in actual fact it is the reverse. They create negativity and despair. Should be a white background with black lettering.

Got nailed by S2 at 8am. Again @2pm if on S2.

If S3 then again @8pm.

It's all your fault for calling loadshedding 'rolling blackouts'. Eskom said no load shedding, now they can simply say it's just 'rolling blackouts'

Eskom said 'no PLANNED load shedding'... This is all unplanned, they can't help it if there are clouds in the sky :D

It's actually rolling whiteouts, interspersed with annoying spots of black

Noted...
It's a boring continuation of whiteouts, with frequent blackouts happily breaking the monotomy :)

Stage 2 - 8-10pm
Stage 3 - 6-8pm

So if they go to stage 3 at 4pm and back to stage 2 at 8pm .. I will have a double whammy :(
