COCT thinks it is still before 12noon.

Maybe the gun misfired.

We are currently LOAD SHEDDING in STAGE 2 in some areas due to high demand or urgent maintenance being performed at certain power stations

Maybe CT is one of the areas that fall outside Stage 2...I will know at 2pm.

Big industrial users have been forced into Stage 3 as of earlier this morning - per Chris Yelland. That means they need to reduce power usage by 20% which is massive.

Eskom also now saying that feed from Cahora Bassa is online again.......

They may JUST avoid Stage 3 tonight but this weekend will no doubt be minimum Stage 1 both days

Stage 1 in CPT definitely. The area around work is supposed to be off for Stage 2 - it isn't.

Could be cape town is loadsheding more efficiently

Yeah, it's happened a couple of times before. Stage 2 for SA but Stage 1 for CT.

Probably got a similar load reducement program to that of Joburg's City Power.

But we'll likely be back on Stage 2 by 16:00 today.

I don't really care if it's stage 1 or 2 ... either way I have a 8-10pm slot

Busy charging my backup batteries :)

We're up first, 6-8PM tonight whether Stage 1 or 2....

Inverter always at the ready, sun doing its thing for the geyser and lamb chops waiting to be gassed.

Eskom can get knotted!
