Didn't some guys say that loadshedding already started?

They are wrong. Load shedding will start at 16:00 on Stage 2

I was off yesterday at 11AM (Fault), 3PM (Fault), 6PM (Load Shedding), and tonight again at 6PM (Load Shedding) :(

Not as annoying as our area's feed last night.

Loadshedding from 1600 to 1810.
Off again at 1830
On at 1900
Off at 2000 (not sure precisely when it went off, but it was around 8-ish) <- managed to get kids in bed, less questions to answer.
So the wife and I sat in the lounge with a solitary rechargeable lamp as I was too annoyed to go and start the generator again!
On at 2120
Off 10 minutes later...to which I said fsck this, I'm going to bed now.

Must've been a fault or something, but I'm not sure because the police passed my house quite a few times. Perhaps someone was trying to steal cables while we were being shed during our scheduled slot. Hope he got fried.

Thanks for the thread MickeyD. It blows my mind how Eskom ritually every morning blows out the same propaganda that there is no expectation of load shedding... and then 4 hours later announce the dreaded blackout.

It would be different if this was completed unexpected and there hadn't been load shedding in the week prior, but it's been stage 2 almost every day now. There transparency sucks. Pond scum!

17:30-20:30 (scheduled) yesterday. Was actually 18:30-21:30. And tonight from 20:00-23:00.

At the current rate, it won't be long before Eishkom updates will be telling us when we will have power, instead of when we won't.
