That 06h30 poweralert graph does not bode well !!!

The colouring on those graphs just makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever...

Yellow between 1am and 3am... but suddenly we jump in power usage and its now green.....

I think it is matched to current supply. Where supply can easily meet demand - green.

Here's the 7am graph:

I think we should actually take screenshots of those graphs.. I doubt its matched to anything in reality, and its just random.

The underlying HTML code is monumentally basic, which doesn't lead me to think its tied to anything in the background really.

I'll look for some I took last week and then try to match then up to see if they repeat the same trends!

Hmmmm No need to judge... they seem to have a few graphs and they just rotate them... I expect nothign less from their PR department though.

I bet this trend will just continue, and get worse over winter. They can't afford the diesel.

My question to Eskom is when they regularly load shed on the weekends and afternoons/evenings, are the diesel turbines running?

Load shed without any advance warning in zone 3 (Somerset West) with a bunch of sensitive prototype electronics plugged in. Fsck.

Nope, that would be a fault more than likely.

Then how do it explain locations in Strand and Somerset West switching to backup power, Gordon's Bay and Sir Lowry's is running with no issue. Maintaining a entire zone is unlikely, perhaps someone else here has 'Eskom' power in zone 3.

I retract my earlier statement...

Eskom were just 15 minutes too slow.
