Here is something interesting to think about. Why do they even do these stage 1 for for 1 hour then stage 2. Why not just stay on stage 2 from the start.

What happens if you have stage 1 loadshedding from let say 3pm to 5pm but on stage 2 you are off from 5pm to 7pm. It means those people will be off from 4pm to to7pm where if it was just stage 2 from the start they would have only been off for 2 hours.....

Just does not make sense from Eskom.

That's what is happening to PE's group 3 today. 4-5pm and then 8-10pm.

You'll just have to keep an eye on Eskom's twitter account.

The stage of load shedding never even closely correlates to the schedule on the urkaheleni website. They don't even have a stage 2 schedule.

Question - I looked at Durbanville on Gridwatch yesterday and I'm pretty sure we weren't scheduled for 6pm today.

Are they changing the schedules at short notice ?
