Cape Town is 2-2.5 hours at a time.
Yeah and you guys use a rotating schedule. Tshwane has a fixed schedule so basically I am screwed. My schedule:
Stage 1: 16:00-18:30 Mo, We, Fr, Su
Stage 2: 16:00-18:30 all days
Stage 3: 8:00 - 10:30 and 16:00-18:30
So what happens:
Eskom decides 15:00 to start stage 1. 50% I might get load shed, depending on the day.
A bit later they almost always decide to go stage 2: I am load shed.
So it doesn't matter what day it is, I always get load shed.
Other colleagues/friends of mine in Tshwane has a morning slot for stage 1 & 2, so never get load shedding except for stage 3 which seldom happens.
I actually wish for stage three in the evenings just so that more people feel it - makes no difference to me!!
