Per Eskom:

The load shedding prognosis for today is medium to high and is dependent on the performance of the power plant.

Current status: Stage 1

Those idiots at Eksdom claimed to have stopped load shedding. Well, that's what their SMS said last night.

Of course, we know they lie so I am assuming that the symptoms of their incompetence will be demonstrated once again.

The chart looks remarkably similar to yesterday's, and we had stage 2 yesterday.
It will depend on their capacity to supply...

And I would not mind either Stage 1 or 2 today!! Got hit twice yesterday between 4-9pm when they changed the stages... today, nada.

They have *never* kept to their schedules for me, not once. I've pretty much given up on any form of schedule of loadshedding. Just forging ahead as quickly as possible to get the PV arrays up on the roof and the inverters/batteries connected.

Strangely enough, they've always been adherent to the schedule for me. They've certainly never loadshed when they weren't supposed to.

Well well well, what ever happened to 4 hours of loadshedding per week or something.

Also looks like everyone's predictions are thrown out the windows, I wonder if we can start a Superbru Loadshedding pool :p

I'm fine today [-]unless[/-] until they transition to stage two.

It's probable.

Look on the bright side - you've got that awesome view to gaze at during the day…

hehehe - will do some gardening...

Was off at 4pm yesterday and at 8pm last night.

In PE it's "Geysers" (not me!!!) until 10am and then Group 7 (me).

I'm seriously considering building a contraption that takes kid energy and transforms it into electricity.

Call it a hybrid playgym, I'm sure my 3 year old could power my lights at least or open it to the public. Wonder why that's never been considered? Using public park play equipment to generate power. Something like peoples park with hordes of kids must be able to.

Large hamster wheels? dangle a chocolate or something on one end?
