Friggin load shedded the lights at Hockey last night so no practice.

I'm seriously considering building a contraption that takes kid energy and transforms it into electricity.

Call it a hybrid playgym, I'm sure my 3 year old could power my lights at least or open it to the public. Wonder why that's never been considered? Using public park play equipment to generate power. Something like peoples park with hordes of kids must be able to.

An average adult can produce ±150W for 80 minutes (so ±0.25kWh) and then be near exhaustion... So you're not going to get much from kids

Depends which race the kids are.
Chinese kids work like slaves, literally.

You haven't seen my kid running around then. The other day, he thought it would be fun to use the corridor in our flat ( maybe 30M long? ) to run up and down for about 15mins.

Just thinking, dynamo on a merry go round and swing poles, maybe something by trampolines, ball games on poles with builin dynamo at revolution points, just a thought.
