Imo 20:00 - 22:30 is the worst.

I don't have kids so I like to eat later (and stay up late) and my microwave draws too much power for my inverter.

Most of the time 20:30-22:00 ended before 10 ,and here the Telkom exchange/Mtn tower or neighbours is more bearable at 6-8, and most people have cooked by 8 rather eat in the dark than try and cook in the dark

We don't have a 20:00-22:30 - its 19:00-21:30 or 21:00-23:30 and they rarely go the distance for that one.

In fact last night the 21:00-23:30 only lasted 15 minutes…

Kaapstad only loadshedding from 18:00 to 20:30 and it happens to be the Zone 7. Worst time for Loadshedding IMO.

From next week I shall refrain from participating in this load shedding nonsense. A Honda EG6500CSX generator was delivered today and will be installed over the next few days, and I've been assured it can power the entire household.

Here in the thick of things...some have had no power since Monday evening...not Eskom.just cables that have been stolen.
