We weren't cut off last night as scheduled so 11:00 today's the litmus test for our area.

Meanwhile, in other news:

Areas still out includes parts of: Seaview, Beachview, Kini Bay, Summerstrand and Mount Croix.
Does that mean PE is meeting its overall load-shedding requirements and the rest of us are off the hook :whistling:

It's interesting to see the voltage changes just before LS kicks in. Spec supply here is 240V, but about two minutes before LS that drops to 236-237V, and then rises to 239-240V and then cut.

According to my UPS software, I am currently receiving 225V

Eskom not going to be happy
Eskom usually have a decent buffer I think.

For us the Municipality got their schedules totally wrong.... They have times like block 1 8am to 10:30am and then block 2 11am to 13:30 so between the times there is 30min the that whole area got power. Usually they should overlap to but I guess Eskom don't care about that 30min or it is simply not significant enough.

I won't be surprised if Eskom got like 500MW buffer or so.
