Good day

I have setup Route Sentry and everything works fine on the pc.

I connect my Xbox through my pc via internet connection sharing.

Before I setup Route Sentry my Xbox was connecting to live and my NAT was open.

After setting up Route Sentry my Xbox does not connect to Live. In the Network test it fails the DNS test. I have Internet Connection Sharing enabled on the International dial-up connection.

If I enter my username and password in the pppoe settings on the Xbox it does not even pass the IP address test.

Has anybody had success with getting the two to work together.

All help and suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think ICS works when using Route Sentry, if you XBox is able to connect via proxy, install CCProxy on your pc, then on the XBox, enter you pc's ip address as the proxy.

Why do you noy just connect your XBOX directly via your router(I assume you use one). ISP's such as Web Africa allows 4 concurrent logins.

he is using Route Sentry to manage two connections, the router is probably in bridge mode, so authentication is done via the pc, not the router.

In that case he could use the Xbox like the PC to the router. You can fill in your logon details on the Xbox. That is what I am doing. But that is also why he needs more than one concurrent login.

I am on a wireless network at home and the Xbox is not near the router.

I think that the problem is that you can't use internet connection sharing if you use two pppoe dialers.

All replies are appreciated.
