Router Advice pls

Anyone know how good/bad the TrendNet dsl routers are?
Priced a four port TrendNet ethernet router for just under R600 but I'm not familiar with the brand. Compared with Telkom's for R1000 I'm inlined to take the former.
Comments ?

Have a look also at other ADSL modems:

There are a lot of other good brands in that price range... Surecom / D-Link etc. I think I saw a chronos ADSL router at my supplier for R289.00

Only problem with the chronos is it is a usb modem,afaik, by scanning the forum for posts you will find a lot of people including me will recommend going for a Ethernet modem it is more compatible and I have had better stability from Ethernet type modems than usb. But in the end it's up to you to decide which will be best for your setup.

No man, an ethernet based one (4 port)...

You must be carefull though, because you get ADSL routers that do not include an ADSL modem and require one to be bought seperately.
