What happens if you can not access your own routers http setup page via a url (http://192.168.1.254) ?

Also a ping to 192.168.1.254 reults in 100% packet loss.

TCP/IP using DHCP
IP: 192.168.1.100
SM: 255.255.255.0
R: 192.168.1.254

Internet access working 100% but I need to change isp accounts.

What is an IT Guy to do???

O and there hotline only works during regular office hours, great for consumers, lots of thums up!

thought i recognised that number mine is a 5200s can you not take it back to your computer shop to check it out thats what i did cause they also on adsl (matrix warehouse here in cape town)and then it worked so i knew i had a problem with my line. do the lights go on. your adsl and ppp lights.

My internet access is fine 100%, i just cant load the router setup page http://192.168.1.254. The rest of the net is working fine. But i must switch my isp account because account number one has reached it's cap.

cool no problem i hope it works i know how frustrating it is to be online but off if you know what i mean. let me know what happens as we all need some help sometimes.

Blind leading the blind...

Windows machine --> Start --> run --> cmd --> ok --> ipconfig /all --> check default gateway that should be router ip --> start --> run --> http:\\ip --> ok --> router page loads hopefully.
