I have a standard BT ADSL connection to the internet with 5 public IP address available. The external IP address of the ADSL router (DLink 504T) takes 1 of these addresses (e.g. 81.3.25.25). I have a separate hardware firewall that sits behind the router. This setup works fine for standard internet access. The problem I have is that I need to expose the external IP address of the firewall to the internet to be able to setup a VPN connection to another site. What do I have to do to the router to make it pass through IP packets to the firewall (Symantec VPN200)?

I'd think it depends on the firewall setup to be set to allow access to and from the destination VPN address. Obtain the port and IP and config the firewall to simply let those packets through. Did I understand your question correctly?
