The Software engineers in our team are responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing enterprise grade software. Setting operational specifications, formulating and analysing of all our software
Job Competencies:
• Logical & objective approach to problem solving
• Grounded understanding of the software development life cycle
• Grounded understanding of Behaviour Driven Development
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage expectations and articulate technical detail
• Methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind
• Ability to prototype solutions that can scale complexity as is required
• Ability to understand, evaluate and interpret business value
Responsibilities:
• Examine existing business systems and models.
• Analyse, evaluate, gather and translate system & business requirements.
• Writing of detailed and atomic business and functional user stories and scenarios
• Implement, configure and test solutions.
• Conducting cost & feasibility analysis; setting timeframes for implementation of proposed solutions.
• Specifying and shaping the system requirements and operations, user interface and output.
• Liaising extensively with external and internal stakeholders.
• Developing solutions and related products
• Work closely with developers, testers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Drawing up, supervising and documenting testing schedules for complete systems.
• Overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration.
• Proving training and user manuals to users of a new system.
• Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments
Minimum Requirements:
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Requirements:
• Basic/Moderate analytical abilities
• Well-grounded technical or development background
• Ability to read/write Python & PHP Code
Salary: Market Related
