No. Kockott is arrogant and has an ego problem. He's not as much a team player as trying to be the "hero of the game".

Nah, he should get his chance in the Bok team some time. He played an influential role with the Sharks this season and his goal-kicking was nearly as good as Morne's...just needs to practise drop kicks and he'll be a champion :p

Well Kocket and Vermaak surely have the stuff. They have two problems though. Fourie is world class. Klaar.

He falls into the same category as a Smit, Bakkies, JdV, Matfield, Percy and Burger. Even when going through a rough patch… he’s irreplaceable at this stage. I don’t think he’s off form. I distinctly remember him putting both Pieterson and Hanaba into space scoring tries with the Lions... a good scrummie isn’t always the slippery cocky one. He had 8+ game reviews all round with the last test match against NZ.

Though I fully agree he’ll need a rest some time during the tri-nations. He pretty much suffers from a cronic shoulder injury that just won't go away with the constant rugby. And it’s a pity that Kocket or Vermaak won’t get a shot at it. Januarie is ofc Divvy quota token. Good luck in getting rid of him.

Uhm don't know if you know this but test rugby is not CC rugby nor S14 rugby.

Its a step up and what you need from a scrummie at test level is good kicking, great cleaning out of the scrums /rucks , a break now and again and good solid defence.

 A good scrummie is supposed to be cocky/arrogant ......... he's had one or two brainfarts but who hasn't. He's enough of a team player in my view and really don't know why people have an issue with him.

ROFL. NO. Fourie is the best scrummie in world rugby by miles and I do not see him being a general prick/arrogant/cocky. Even on saturday when Richie Mc threw him onto the ground he did not even look like he would retaliate.

Kockott is good but his temper sucks.

Pienaar should be the #2 scrumhalf and backup flyhalf.
Even though I'm happy that Januarie/Febuarie isn't playing for WeePee.
