Rubio declares South African ambassador to US persona non grata over speech criticizing Trump, Musk and Vance

That's a highly illogical conclusion.

How am I being racist by telling you that the ANC government and 80 percent of the population would be strongly against being bullied and dictated to by the white US government ? Am I wrong?

Would they react differently if it were a Black led US government?, heck I have no idea.
Now, taking off my American hat and putting on my South African Rainbow Nation hat .....

You do realize that the Housing and Urban Secretary, Scott Turner is .... to use your words ... black?
You do realize the Director of the FBI, Kash Patel is not .... well ... white?

But see, here in the US, regardless of party, we see them all as the US government. Race isn't the deciding factor.
May be in SA, and SAns may believe the same rules apply to other places .... but thats not the case.

Americans may not be proud of Trump ... or they may be. Either way, Americans of all colors and affiliation are proud of this wonderful country.
Let me remind you who brought race to the party ... Mr. Rafool.
And let me remind you who rebuked him, Mr. Rubio who is of Cuban descent, or a Latino by another name. But we see him as an American, protected as are all others under the 14th amendment of the US constitution.

You are likely a very lekker guy, and I would truly love you to come stay with us here in the US, but yes, I do believe you are wrong in bringing race into the discussion. I wish you could see life from a perspective other than the jaundiced view under the ANC regime.
There is life after SA .... its rich and rewarding, I promise.

That aside, SA isnt being bullied .... at all. Rafool forgot that he is a guest in the United States.
SA is welcome to walk away from the US as a partner. Thats SAs prerogative.

Some fair points, perhaps I did not give that enough thought.

I did a bad job of trying to point out how it is likely to be perceived here in SA.

You are completely correct in saying that any discussion or debate should be centered around the actual issues at hand and not race. I accept that.

They are willing to meet fringe right wing WHITE groups. They are meeting with the DA. They are not prepared to meet with the democratically elected government of SA.
Never trust a bunch of Marxists.

Marxists 1 : 1 Trump

I suppose you can't win em all.

Ho hum.

It will all be ok. No need to panic. Just go about your business.

A great statesman would say:

South Africans we have to unite. We have to work to make this country strong to compete against Europe, US, Asia, South America and the rest of Africa. It's a cutthroat world out there and no quarter is given. We have the potential to be a top economy. But we have to work together. We have to build a strong country first and then we can focus more on social justice. Without an economy we can't deliver social justice. It's not possible. So we're ending most BEE and most affirmative action, but there will still be programs and incentives and buy in from all sectors to help uplift everyone and return SA to a top economy status.
That's naive, imo. Social Justice is merely a euphemism for escaping the consequences of open competition.

A flourishing economy and Social Justice are mutually exclusive.

This is the kind of Social Justice warrior nonsense that got us into this situation to begin with.

Zuma came in with an economy. Then it was time to deliver Social Justice.

The ANC has followed your model-Statesman advice to the tee.

Trump and Co should sanction all the ANC politicians and their families.

I have to say though that since Hamas attacked Israel, SA has swung into a very Pro-Hamas support. I take it the ANC hasnt figured out that only 1.5% of the country is Muslim and thats why the ANC shed such a large number of votes. People dont want to vote for more Hamas here.

The whole Trump executive is neocon or mostly so even that soyboy Vance makes pretenses.
It is a concern.

Clearly, it isn't as bad as last time.... I mean taking a chain-saw to public spending is the American thing to do. Since when has a POTUS taken that task on with any meaningful intent? And just having a few saner heads like old-school lefties Gabbard and RFK Jr. makes this administration infinitely less-devastating to what's left of the American dream, than a Harris admin would have been.

Probably too little too late, though, because 1 administration doesn't make an economy ... it doesn't even break it completely.

You need a few more on the trot to try to salvage something from the mess the Rep Protectionists and the Social Democrats have unleashed.

Looks like Redi Tlhabi may also be getting her US temporary visa revoked quite soon as well... she better be packed up & ready just in case... ;)

Hi Secretary Rubio

This is a prominent South African journalist and ANC supporter knowingly lying about POTUS.

She currently resides in the USA on a temporary visa. Something to think about.

Notice how the Left never deliver criticism of Trump where its deserved.

Greenlanders would inherit a national debt of $130 trillion.

The little they do criticize him for Protectionism is stunted by the fact their own admins were all doing the same, just less overtly.

Are you winning?
- 80 Murders a Day
- 46% Unemployment
- Infrastructure Collapse
- Electricity Crisis
- Water Crisis
- Land Ownership Crisis
- 28 Million Grant Recipients vs 7 Million Tax Payers

Anything that weakens the ANC is a win. The ANC must go.
Your stats is a bit skewed. 76.2% of the Income tax is paid by 1 million tax payers, who is SO DUMB AND STUPID not to demand anything back for the taxes they pay. Abroad they would get free schooling for their kids, pension included and pay 25% tax. But here they get NOTHING, other than MORE TAXES.

Try raising the price of fuel abroad, the petrol stations will be toasted too.

Nope SA TAX PAYERS = TOTAL IDIOTS.
