Also, the ABs were down to 14 men for 20 minutes and we still got cleaned up. A bit depressing, really... :(

Also what is this emphasis by some South Africans to look at the ground? As somebody said, we should only focus on the team. Looking at the ground is a huge red herring IMO.

I have to agree about the ref, it was very refreshing having a ref that took control for the most part. Hats off Owens.

Last bitch from me for the day - I am truly disgusted by the way Lambie was treated this whole championship especially in light of how awful that Krusty muck played. I'm sure that if Lambie was not such a passionate Saffer, he would have already told HM to p1ss off.

Hats off to the All Blacks. They are truly amazing and the best team in the world. Today they really answered any questions regarding where they stand. They are ahead of everyone.

Springboks. You made me proud. You scored four tries against the All Blacks and that's amazing. You played great rugby and you were beaten by a better team. However...

I see greatness coming. This Springbok team can become great. They made so many strides in the last year. Next year they will be even better.

And last but not least: Nigel Owens. You were outstanding today. It was a great game between the two best teams in the world and you controlled the game superbly.

It was an awesome game. We lost and that sucks but wow! This is why I watch rugby.

Have to agree the All Blacks was great, we had lots of opportunities and made lots of errors. Our defence was bad but we had some great tries. Nigel Owens had a good game

It was a helluva spectacle. If we could curtail the unforced errors we'd be as class an act as the All Blacks, who proved today why they're still the best team in the world.

Obviously we need to get rid of the likes of Kirchner and Engelbrecht. And Lambie needs far more game time over Morne "one dimension" Steyn...

Oh and as a Sharks supporter, I am compelled to blame the ref... :D

At the end there, instead of playing structured rugby we got loose and the All Blacks will destroy you when you lose your structures and get sloppy like that.

Yip give Lambie a chance on flyhalf. Steyn's defence is also pathetic. Krusty and Engelbrecht must go

Have to agree with you guys. Lambie has been maltreated for a while now.

I think we were unprepared for what this game required of us. Steyn isn't the flyhalf for this kind of game. Lambie hasn't played enough international rugby this year. Deserves better.

Nigel Owens also deserves kudos for a great reffing performance. Made use of technology, made use of his assistants, was clear to the players.

Oh, and let's compare how Hansen is treating Barrett with how Meyer is treating Lambie...

Barrett was brilliant. Broke through 4 tackles for his try, and the way he ran in Le Roux to deny that try. Excellent stuff.

IMO it is time to revisit our decision to play foreign based players. If you want to play for SA you must be playing in SA.

I think that as a team we are definitely improving in terms of our attack. We're a long way off NZ but I do see a silver lining. We're the only team in the world that can make the All Blacks work hard for a victory. We just need to stay focussed in defence and work on our ball skills. The South African rugby culture has been very much focussed on attritional rugby for decades now. It is good to see a move towards a 15 man game but it will take a while to catch up to the All Blacks.

I enjoyed watching SA hit gaps and make skillful passes to score those tries today.

Well, Louw and Du Preez are foreign based players and they were two of our best this whole Championship...

My SA players of the series are Eben Etzebeth and Willie Le Roux...

I for one are proud of the team. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and we lost it due to a so so first half and a kick in touch. When we lost heart after the fourth NZ try there was a comedy of desperate errors but for me it was close. Damn close.

Well done Springboks this championship was nearly ours.

PS: what was it with the NZ management trying to stop the game. Freaking brainless idiots!
