Just googled this and could not find any articles or anything...nada regarding this rumour...so I dont think it is true then. Oh well :whistling:

Yes, he woke up that fine spring morning, and was blown over by the fragrance of the blossoms outside, and personally decided "being gay" would be his "lifestyle".

In my view it is in fact these sort of comments that alienate gays!

If we were talking about a heterosexual male getting hugged and their bum slapped by a female, or them having a perv while in a changeroom full of women you would not have an issue with it. Yet when we say the exact same things about a gay male all of a sudden it is being insensitive and making them uncomfortable. Now that sounds like double standards.

I will make the same sort of jokes no matter your sexuality.

I too wanted to comment on that statement, but I have said it so many times before that I am rather tired of it, but here goes:

IT IS NOT A CHOICE OR DECISION THAT YOU MAKE.

Just like you guys did not wake up one morning and decided to be hetero.

True. Once again, I am not speaking for all gay men, but I think a whole lot less perving is actually done by gay men on other straight men in a predominantly straight setting. And anyway, so what if a gay man oogles your backside? Take it as a compliment and tell the missus that she better appreciate your bum as it seems to be in high demand. ;);)

If someone finds you attractive and looks, no matter what the sex of that person, try and take it with a compliment. As long as it is done tastefully. No one likes a perv that stares! A glance is good enough. :D

LOL :D I agree with you there. But most men are insecure about this kind of thing and are likely to feel very uncomfortable in any case.

I also always thought he was and also heard rumours, but those seemed to subside with time.

Either. Have played sport all my life, spent quite some time in the army, etc and have got used to having to use communal showers, etc. I'm comfortable with my own sexual inclination and do not feel insecure because someone might be having a peek at my butt!

As for sportsmen or entertainers or anyone else being gay, I don't care either.
