Kockott is a scrumhalf and Jantjies is a Flyhalf...so they won't swap the 2. I have suggested that they should start Kockott in the place of Jano Vermaak, and then Kockott should take the kicks...maybe that's what you meant?

Blues are damn good this year. They certainly slacked off in the first half intentionally.

If they could sort out their finishing and patchy defence, the Lions could become a team to be reckoned with.
Put it like this: Usually the Blues score a massive runaway victory against the Lions. This time, the latter actually made it into double figures.

I wish them all the best.
Go the other team with a Kiwi coach!

The Lions have a supporters thread!!? Sorry I had to, just a joke though please don't stone me.

Seriously though, I think you guys were very unlucky not to win either or both of the first two games. Had Mr.Jantjes had his kicking boots on it could well have been a different story.

The difference though is that those two sides (Stormers, Bulls) know how to close out tight games, and unfortunately the only way the Lions will learn is with experience.

But I wish all the Lions supporters the best of luck for the rest of the season, I rate after that first victory a few more might follow.

It breaks my heart every weekend.

One of the commentators said it best, something along the lines of:

" The Lions have been in this position before (1 try away from victory), now they need to use that experience, stand up and be counted, show the heart and go for the win."

:( So Sad.
