Russia charges cyber security experts with treason

Russian authorities have charged two former officers in the Federal Security Service and an employee of cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab with committing treason in the interests of the United States, according to a lawyer representing one of the three.

Certainly not hacking Clinton's Emails.

Ironically, someone in tech (on one of the TWiT shows - I think it was either TWiET [Enterprise Tech] or the main TWiT show on Sunday) made a comment last week, implying that Kaspersky software might in future be / might already have been used by Russia against the US, and the others agreed. Suppose it depends on which side of the fence one sits.
