That plutonium is going to get stolen so fast, eskom won't even realize soweto suddenly has two nuclear reactors powering the area.
What are you talking about? They are not nuclear powered aircraft and they are not carrying ordinance, nuclear or otherwise.

They will be stripped by tomorrow.

I hope that the Russian crews have an alternative way of getting home.

They usually do. I suspect their aircraft fly on a wing and a prayer given the quality of maintenance in the Russian airforce

Compared to what? The maintenance at SAA? The maintenance at SAAF?

Did you see the statistics of the Russian air ops over Syria the last few years?

Back on topic, any video of the an 124 landing or anything?

My son and I did get to see the Tu 160's flying today.

Very cool, now we need a B52 and a B2 to compare to. Hint hint US.
I am very lucky to live an hour away from RAF Fairford in the UK. Currently there are a few B-52's stationed there, last week there was a U-2 Dragon Lady. A few months back there were a few B-2's stationed there for their longest deployment outside of the USA.

B1 is a closer comparison.

But I'll settle for a BUFF
Some pics I took of the BUFF at RAF Fairford recently.

Russia doing a bit of a show of force and we are celebrating it as a airshow?
