Here is my hypothesis (fun thing about a hypothesis is that it can be wrong). I also predict my hypothesis will be most likely wrong, but I will put it here anyway. A big civil revolt will only start happening once Moscow and St. Petersberg's instagrammer class cannot afford their luxury goods like they usually can. So far the war has zero effect on them. Proof of this is to look at russian instagrammers who usually show their luxury goods on instagram. Non of them have slowed down in their decadent lifestyles. Poorer provinces in russia are probably already suffering, but to St petersburgers and moscow resisdents those people don't matter.


Here is a list of 10 such instagrammers. If you look at their profiles, you will still see they are living as if nothing happened: https://www.heepsy.com/ranking/top-instagram-influencers-in-moscow There a lot more than those. One can look specifically at the Russian model accounts in Moscow and st petersberg region.
