If you have cancer, don't you go for treatment immediately? The quicker the better results?
Now if you don't. You can plan the surgery. You can "die" during surgery. Have a closed casket funeral off course. And remain in hiding for the rest of your days.
Meanwhile everything can be blamed on you, as you are dead. And we can all afford paraffin again

Yeah i mean if.
The Spartans were trapped underground.
Slowly wasting away.
Or if Azov Nazis were actually "keeping the horde at bay".
Simply dying slowly from lack of food and water
In front of Russians shouldnt make you.
Some sort of hero.

But i mean.
