Some truths needs to be said.
Apologies before hand if some feel offended or insulted or feel the need to troll, I will not entertain any of it.
Cognitive & Confirmation bias are very much at play for both sides of the fence. Both the West and East supporters have been fooled here and let me say why:

Fake news sells and is considered more factual than real news, that is the sad reality.

What I urge all posters, no matter where your beliefs or loyalties lie, is to try:
Recognise on a larger scale what is really happening in the world right now.
Consider and acknowledge you may not understand things on a global scale.
Research both sides of the coin, read and study all the news whether deemed reputable or not, try understand their respective intentions and agenda.

I am not going to cite any sources but would like to mention a few things from personal experience in what I have personally seen. Not from what I have read or what I have heard, what I have physically seen and experienced with my own eyes and ears. You don't have to believe me as I am just a general Joe Soap, but perhaps it will give you something to reflect on.

China ultimately wins here. Chinese State news also deems it a "special military operation" and paints the Americans as the bad guys - Do your own research and relate back why ?
Russia wins long term too if their regime is not toppled. Russian State news also refers to it as a "special operation" and arrests anyone who tries to speak up. Half of the Russians are brainwashed and the other half are shyte scared but know the truth. The ones with finance and the ability have left. - Do your own research and relate back why ?
Europe / USA loses here in the short term and would need to take on both Russia and China plus their smaller allies if they wish to return relative order. There is an economical crisis looming in both USA and Europe, they are all so inundated in debt, I can't see any short-term to medium term resolutions. Yes we can discuss foreign policy and past actions taken but that is delving off what I wanted to say.
Ukraine is hurting tremendously right now, but the people are resilient and will fight to the death. Their media portrays Russia as the bad guys obviously and there is a considerable amount of fakes in their media, just like in the above regions/countries mentioned above. Do your own research and relate back why ?

I have come to know both Russian and Ukrainian people quiet well, I speak the languages (basics), understand their culture and past histories. There have been a lot of atrocities in the past/current and both Nations are by large are fed up with all that is going on. The general populous in both countries do not have much say but can tell you this for sure, there are Nazis/Terrorists all over the world and you have rotten apples in every fresh bag of apples in each country. Please don't be *sold* on circulating propaganda but keep an open mind and think of the people that are being affected by this invasion.

All of us are and will be more affected as time goes by, especially the developing nations and we are living in times that major world wide revolutions and proposed new world orders are taking place.

Keep an open mind and be kind to one another, the world is getting crazier and more lost each and every day.

It's looking more likely since the Demon Dwarf of the Orcs invaded his neighbour.
Mmmm, sounds like there might be a possible referendum?
Sanna Marin, Finland's prime minister, said on Saturday the decision on whether or not to join should happen "this spring," the Financial Times reported.
Seems like both the ruling party and the official opposition agrees on this:
Finland's National Coalition party, the government's main opposition, also supports NATO membership.

Russia won't be giggly when Finland joins... lol

I also googled it, and although there is lots of info regarding booby traps, I could not find any about this method.

Just say you don't understand how to google, it would be an easier explanation

Just for some perspective. When one sets a booby trap, surely any intelligent person would want to be fully in control and not blow yourself up.

You don't seem to understand how it works, the pin is pulled but the lever is kept in place, it can be placed under the corpse's belt or between their knees, like this:

Then of course it can just be done indiscriminately to kill anyone who moves the body.

ISIS is proficient at adopting creative ways to cause more deaths and casualties. A recent tactic used by ISIS is booby-trapping corpses in shallow graves, wiring them with explosives. This is certainly not a new tactic; it’s been used throughout modern history. The Viet Cong, for example, used to position live grenades under dead bodies. In 2015, ISIS was said to have booby-trapped 123 dead Yazidis in a shallow mass grave in Sinjar, many of them women. It’s likely these victims were killed because they were too old to be used as sex slaves or they refused to leave with the ISIS fighters. One report indicated ISIS used an infant as a training aid on how to rig the booby traps. A-Sumeriah News stated

as if it is Finland's decision
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on March 31 that while the decision to join the bloc was one for Finland to make,
How is it not their decision? Even NATO says it's their decision. Last I checked they weren't a Russian vassal state?
how many years have Ukraine begged to join?
have they joined? why not?

... and why would Finland be any different?
he expected that NATO would allow the country to join quickly.
"If they apply, I expect that they will be very welcomed and that we'll find a way to quickly agree the accession protocol and follow up on a membership of Finland," he said.
They aren't as reluctant with the Finns as with Ukraine...

Well it did take you 5 hours to google it. I have no time for that. If I don't find an answer quickly, I know its not true or not a very common method.

I know exactly how it works. Like I said before placing a grenade with safeties off on a something that can move is risky and stupid. I don't want to place that grenade between the legs where the soil, flesh, joints or clothing can move and either the lever can open or the whole grenade slips out between the legs.

I do however appreciate your thinking that I think the lever was removed also. I would have liked to know what the outcome was for that operator who removed the lever.
