Hannity and his cognitive dissonance.
What was the supposed "Trump doctrine"? To break up NATO at a time when it had already been under threat for years? There's strong evidence that it was one of Trump's prime goals during his second term. And remember he was willing to incite revolt for that second term. Side repeatedly with the one threatening NATO? Expect quid pro quo from Zelensky for weapons aid? Lambast the previous democratic president for not giving enough aid? Then when the invasion started actually double down on praising Putin and criticizing the current president? Get help from Russia to get elected?
Trump and Putin are allies. Putin is the enemy of Ukraine, EU, NATO, the entire democratic world and definitely the US.
It doesn't get much simpler than that!
But... Hmmm... Hannity: "I support the Trump doctrine."
Trump supporters must be prime examples of towering foolishness. To be fooled so.
