Most of that is your false emotional view based on one sided propaganda you consumed. Very few of it is even particularly factual.

The Nazi leader himself said they have between 2-3000 members in Ukraine. Fact.
Running away and abandoning equipment when coming under fire. Fact.
Wholesale abandonment of equipment. Fact.
Slaughtering of civilians. Currently being investigated by the UN and NATO.
Russian soldiers going AWOL en-masse even turning on their own commanding officers. Fact.
The attempt to capture Kiyv without actually invading it and then abandoning that attempt after a week of sitting around setting houses on fire. Fact.

I think it is you who are who are seeing all of the facts through lenses of emotion and assuming everyone else is doing the same. I believe this is called projection at best. Deflection at worst.

This war will be messy from both sides. A big part of the issue is that so many of Ukraine's forces are irregular militia. People not in uniform but who are going out at night in civilian clothes, doing damage, and then going home. Civilians taking pictures or video's and uploading it to social media giving the Ukrainian forces actionable intelligence. But its just a kid with a phone. Can you shoot him? His actions may cause you to be shot after all. Every war ever that operated like that has atrocities aplenty as the lines between combatants and non-combatants is so blurry. Yet what other option do the Ukrainians have? Either way I suspect there are war crimes happening regularly on both sides as both sides hate each other, and this is an irregular conflict in so many ways.

I still mostly blame Russia as if they had just not invaded so many would not be dying but I cannot call Ukraine angels either.

Thanks for such a reasoned out post! I see where you come from regarding the Russian invasion. I do feel we are in a geopolitical era where it is acceptable to bomb countries you are not at war with and depose leaders you dont agree with, in the name of national security concerns.

Whats good for Israel in Iran should therefore also be true for Russia in Ukraine.

I seem to remember Russian elite troops running around chasing chickens almost with the same intensity their fellow troops chased that troop carrier vehicle that left them behind

Yep, interesting that you mention Israel. Already seeing a lot of tactics used by the Israeli's being duplicated by Russia. When pulling out they put Ukrainian kids on their tanks to stop ambushes. Typical of Israeli tactics vs similar guerilla fighting in Palestine. Its effective so they use it regardless of how traumatic it may be for the kids involved. I suspect we will hear of more of that on offensive operations too. Human shields when breaching suspected militia held buildings etc. Nasty type of war. Been that way forever too. The flavour changes depending on area of the world and culture but some stuff just stays the same. You will find similarities from the recent Afghan wars, right down to when the US had to take Okinawa in WW2.
