Did that Ukrainian soldier commit a war crime?
Yes, as per Article 3(1) of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and Article 8(2)(b)(vi) of the 1998 ICC Statute. However, that soldier might have a possible justification for his actions as it might be argued that the Russian soldier was beyond rescue and the Ukrainian soldier put him out of his misery (not sure if there is any precedent for this in international law, will have to check). This can be subject to abuse, but from the video, it is clear that the particular soldier was close to death.

On the other dead soldiers, we can speculate based on what is seen in the video.
It seems that one Russian soldier was shot after the possible surrender, as his hands were tied behind his back and you see a head wound (most probable cause is that he was shot). Another possibility is that he was already wounded (sustained during the ambush) and was detained by the Ukrainian soldiers, and died after.

If I look at everything, I can say that there is enough evidence upon first impression to say that these Ukrainian Soldiers committed war crimes.

That video showing their actions are well and truly fuked. Im disappointed with the fact that the pro Ukrainian members here are not even condemning these actions, no matter the circumstances.
I really hope the Ukrainian government finds these people and lock them up for life, in Siberia.

War crimes by any side should be investigated. No excuses.

Not sure which actions are not condemned , since you are replying to a person on my ignore list.
The shooting at Pow's was condemned by the 'pro Ukrainian members' , me included.
But if someone on our ignore lists comments/asks something here to be condemned , you won't see most of us responding.

We should encourage it once Russia gets the fsck out of a sovereign fscking country.

The UN Security council should investigate absolutely everything, starting with Vlad and working their way down.

I think a nice new prison in the middle of the ocean would be a good place for Vlad and his cohorts.

The outcry against the Russians and the outcry against the Ukrainians are disproportionate. I should have probably said only a few members are condemning the actions of the Ukrainians in that video.

We cant say " look at what the Russians did to civilians, they are barbarians " but when the Ukrainians does it its "hey, is that a packet of chips over there?"

I saw 2 pages condemning since it was posted late yesterday?
Again lots of us block propaganda posters and don't answer them.
Also few solders getting executed will always get less outrage than flattened cities, shot kids, raped women, tortured people and eaten pets.

Ever notice how Putin lovers have the same cognitive reasoning as Putin: How dare Ukraine muddy our propaganda and illegal invasion with false flag operations and propaganda. Just who the hell do those Ukrainians think they are.

I wonder if they wouldn't mind if I hopped over their wall and smashed up their pool pump, commenced to stuff their Kreepy Krauly in my ruck sack and then I got pissed at them when they tried to stop me.

However, this is a double standard by Russia. If they call for an investigation into the war crimes of Ukraine, then they should also allow an investigation into war crimes committed by Russia themself.
I am sure Russia will veto any resolution calling for an investigation, and Ukraine, or other western allies will veto the Russian calls for an investigation. Both sides will be outraged by the vetoes.
For me, both sides should be investigated.

China is always looking for an excuse to take Taiwan

the US has been giving them more excuses than usual is all
