Russo-Ukrainian War - 2022 Edition - Part 10

Really a nothingBurger. Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, all NATO members, have been in the Black Sea already. But I suppose our resident commentators will try and make something of this.

The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russia would consider any plans to establish a permanent presence of NATO warships in the Black Sea as a threat, given the alliance's involvement in the Ukraine conflict.

Just a bit of curios history repeating itself. US tankers applied concrete, logs, sandbags and spare track links to their Sherman tanks in WW2 to try and increase their survivability against large-caliber German anti-tank guns (75 and 88 mm guns). Field mods can be interesting, if mostly ineffective.

Here is a pic of US tankers applying concrete to the upper glacis of a Sherman in the field:

Any organization that cannot admit it made a mistake and forces its voluntary members to blindly follow it can go to hell.

AI has lost credibility in my eyes. They might have done some good in the world at some point, but they have fallen from grace and don't deserve any support or recognition anymore.

Why are the members of such an organization surprised if the organization threatens expulsion for not sleepily following the mother org?
