What's batsh-t crazy is to destroy a whole country, murder 1000s because some guys sing songs.
It's to be a Nazi i.e. do what HITLER was engaged in war over, i.e. a war of aggression, to stop some guys singing stupid songs.
Of course this is a Russian pretext. Russia would attack Ukraine no matter what, even if they had a "Communist" party in charge.
But to support this war, and try to justify it, is really low.
And at the same time to enjoy Western products is likewise crazy.
I really don't ourselves getting owned. Could you explain where we are getting owned?

I could say I would be pro-Russian. I always had some sympathies with Russia because of the suffering they went through. If you look at me earlier on this forum, you'll see me promote the Soviet film COME AND SEE.
Russian war of aggression changed that.
I'm sorry but attacking a country for offensive imperialistic reasons while providing stupid reasons for it is stupid.
Such as Ukraine and Bandera. If the freaking conservative government in Poland traveled to Ukraine while it was being bombed, the same one which always brings out UPA atrocities of the 1940s, Russia need not concern herself that pro-Bandera sentiment will be let to flourish. That shows you are clueless and you merely repeat Russian propaganda.

The Russian Mir seems to be a quagmire of paranoid delusion. How involved Belarus is in this conflict is ENTIRELY up to Belarus. The exact same as it was for Russia.

Alexander Lukashenko, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, has suggested that Belarusian troops may have to fight for the west of Ukraine so that it is "not chopped off by the West."
He stated this on Friday, European Pravda reports, citing on Zerkalo.io.
According to Lukashenko, Belarus is an "object of pressure" for the West, chiefly for geopolitical reasons.
"They (the West) have not yet abandoned the goal of aligning the front so that it passes from Smolensk-Pskov, Smolensk-Bryansk-Kursk and from there to Rostov. They need to align the front. And we are this thousand-kilometre balcony, so it must be cut off", assumes Lukashenko.
Lukashenko added that "they (the West) will not stop there."
"They will come from Western Ukraine or somewhere else. Maybe we will have to fight for Western Ukraine so that it is not chopped off. Because this is death for us, not only for Ukrainians. Terrible processes are under way," the self-proclaimed president added.

Yes and many people said expanding NATO to any post Communist country was also a bad idea.

You can't compare NATO countries' bombing of Serbia and Kosovo (NOT YUGOSLAVIA) to Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Serbs had a rep for genocide in the Balkans War previously. And they were starting this again.
The action in my view was heavy handed, but it's nowhere near the level of what we're seeing Russia do.
The action followed as part of a humanitarian action.
Europe did not want to stand idly by as another Balkans War with all those atrocities occurred in Europe.
Russia just invaded because skirmishes caused the death of 26 people in Donbas in 2021.
Russia murdered 10s of 1000s of Ukrainians in a vile vigilante action, if we believe buchanan.
This would be like a cops storming a mall because there is a shooting going on somewhere and shooting at half the random people they see.

Does that mean that Russian TV has interpreted his comments the same way as the much derided mainstream media?
It's true, Russia does not deserve the nuclear weapons they have. They have a quasi democracy, they break international law and treaties, they are a gangster state with nukes and large numbers of tanks and artillery and people who don't question this but go along. Ordinary Russians should stand up more and oppose this war.
