Even if this is true, they have multiple districts. Russian artillery barrels will wear out before they run out of ammunition.
Don't know anything about it, but noticed a comment below. Also have no idea if they run out of 122 , what % of their artillery is that.?

Vast majority will be using 152.4mm, i dont know accurate figures maybe 60-80% isnt made up of 122mm. Mostly reserves and DNR are using the 122mm like the D-30.

Putin’s army must be defeated and his diabolical regime destroyed — not only for Ukraine’s sake but for the region’s and the world’s. As Peter Wallison, former White House Council in the Reagan administration, recently wrote: “Obviously, the United States has no way of removing Putin from his command of Russia and its military. The only realistic means to achieve this is to drive him out of Ukraine – depriving him of any semblance of a victory – and thus embolden those forces in Russia, whatever they are, that can somehow remove him from power. It is not clear, of course, that any group in Russia can accomplish this, but if Putin wins the smallest of victories in Ukraine, even this possibility will be erased.”

Put another way, any territorial gain by Russia in Ukraine would represent a Russian victory and guarantee Putin’s continuing tenure as its dictator, thus threatening Europe forever and emboldening China or other autocracies to ride roughshod over international laws. The only solution is to kick Russia out of Ukraine altogether to undermine his support at home and to rid the world of a dangerous dictator.

The stripes haven't changed much. While learning about some of Russia's past behaviour following the situation in Ukraine it has become fairly apparent to me that Russia is somewhat... unoriginal. To put it mildly.
They haven't really changed their MO much in the last 600 years or so.

The one good thing that came out of all this was that Russia reminded the world of what it is. A brutish anachronism.

It will actually be interesting to see what a commercial tank is like in comparison to a government/army designed one...

I would honestly expect it to be cheaper and probably all around better.

If the company recruited or the army detached user specialists from the army a very good product can be produced. The user specialists have an intimate knowledge of the product they used and how it can be improved as they were former tank users.

The South Africans put this to extremely good use by assigning military user specialists to work with companies like Sandock Austral, Dorbyl, Lyttelton Engineering, Reutech, Kentron, Eoptro and many other highly specialised entities like the Naval and Submarine Engineering Bureau. This produced top of the range vehicles and equipment that are still formidable today.
