Can Russia last that long? Their military/munitions factories are already in production difficulties while Ukraine has the biggest western military countries as their production line.

I would be surprised if Russia can fully stock their military with munitions for much more than another year or so, and we'll see (and have already) seen stock shortages escalate within then next few months is my guess.

Russians have an immense capacity for suffering and endurance possibly more than anyone else. I wish it wasn't so it would make peace easier to achieve. I do wish these two sides NATO/Russia would start being nicer to each other. This whole thing just has no end in sight as far as I can see.

I am just thinking what would happen if China tries to attack Russia at the same time. Then again China has the capacity and manpower to attack US, Russia and Taiwan at the same time with more than enough troops.

Russia is already loosing men at 3-5 times the rate of the Ukrainians and the "western" weapons are only just starting to filter in (while Russia seems to running short already).

The problem is Russian military still has the ability to pull a grozny on Ukraine. It will make life easier for Russian military using long range artillery and mass carpet bombing at the cost of war crimes they commit. that would definitely elongate the war. Russia still has an abundance of Pions, 2S35 coaltions, Tornado MLRS, BM-30 Smerches. All those things they can use from within Russia border. As much as Russian military is making blunders they can still bring a lot more hell and potentially cripple Ukraine instantly (with the cost of more war crimes) .

Sure, as related to effects of sanctions on the population, but that's irrelevant on the battlefield.

Also, "endurance" doesn't help the factories that can't produce anything and the airports where planes can't fly because they can't be serviced anymore.

Until they start focusing their entire economy on war. Also Russian women give birth to a hell of a lot more children than Ukrainian women. They can keep going.
