Calling this America's proxy war makes it sound like America started this war. They did not. Russia crossed Ukraine's border. Not the other way round. As they have done repeatedly over the last while. The USA is providing material support to a nation that was invaded by another. Russia can't exactly whine about that too much as in WW2 once Germany crossed Russia's borders the US gave the same type of aid to Russia! Can't have to be a good thing when you need it but not when you are now the aggressor. If the USA wants to help the Ukrainians take Russia down a notch I am all for it. Perhaps it will teach them to stop invading neighbors, and will make any imperial ambitions of China cool down too.

The USA using the NED overthrow the government of Ukraine in 2005 during the "orange revolution" and then in 2014 they supported the right wing government and help instigate the Maidan coup d'etat. To suggest that there is no regime change going on when John McCain and Lindsay Graham were seen handing out weapons and Victoria Nuland caught trying to handpick a proUS government is absurd.
