So the USA strong armed putin "not to invade", in order to spend billions helping Ukraine defend itself from the power they in fact wish to topple.

Russia said it is quitting the Council of the Baltic Sea States amid raging tensions with the West over Moscow's offensive in Ukraine.

The organization is a political forum for regional cooperation that groups together 11 member states such as Germany, Finland and Norway as well as the European Union.

The Foreign Ministry in Moscow said that the organization was becoming "an instrument of anti-Russian policy" and "increasingly mired in Russophobia and lies."

Shoo, Russia is decoupling itself from all sorts of things, while many businesses are themselves divesting in Russia.
So I am guessing glasnost is done and dusted?
Isolated isn't a great place to be ...............

May be good for the Russian political ideology but not great for the younger folks in Russia who may want to be part of the global village.

The Admiral Kuznetov was actually built in Ukraine. But I'm now beginning to suspect all the design defects may have been intentional. :unsure:

The cannon fodder in Ukraine appears to be Russian conscripts and equipment...

Perhaps. How is that worse than Russia INVADING UKRAINE AND KILLING PEOPLE with the intention of taking the capital and putting in a puppet government? Actually, why am I able to see your posts again. I thought I had you on ignore. Anyways, back to the ignore list.

Any regime change in Russia will be due to Putin's hubris, corruption and his own myopic misadventures in the murdering of Ukrainian citizens.

I'd almost be suggesting that the lithium is ineffective, he should try some less "medically" acceptable solutions. Psilocybin looks promising and he should get in before the medical community actually accepts it as a useful treatment
