I believe there is some confusion in this thread and in mod ranks. Since it's in news and current affairs, I thought it's about the Ukrainian war as the topic title would suggest.

Yet the content of the thread is a disproportionately large number of rather extremely personal attacks on members, many which have been reported over a period of time. It's become apparent that the war being spoken about in this thread, is the war on members based upon their views when they try post serious comments as would befit the actual Ukrainian war, the rather sad situation up north.

As such some urgent clarification is required. If I was wrong, could you please move these therads to OT so we can have a "freer" discussion and defend ourselves more "appropriately", not be in a permanent limbo between trying to maintain public forum News and Current Affairs decorum, yet being subjected to unchecked baiting and trolling until we lose it.
