You got crystal ball or did it happen earlier?

In current circumstances, where Ruyter has indicated gas option, is it not diplomatic to keep ties with Russia?

Or we should be patriotic and ask people to suffer more for their country?

Ruyter said domestically sourced gas

"Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd., South Africa’s state power utility, favours burning more domestically sourced gas as it transitions away from coal, its chief executive officer Andre de Ruyter said."

Do you even understand what that was about ?

non paywalled version :

It is basically an import export hub.
But some of teh potential customers it was looking at are dead in the water like the power ships

Yeah I remember that as well, and my response stays the same to that idea... that is just a middle man so that the government and its "partners" can skim off the top. We don't need a new State Owned anything.

If we are going to pursue the gas avenue, we'd be much better suited to explore the Mozambique thing and develop that.

Gas only makes up 6% of SA's power supply anyway.

Foreign investment is about a million times better for our power crisis than a bit of sanctioned gas that is gonna have the opposite effect on foreign investment.

Russia must think the Colonialists and Euros are not supplying arms quick enough. So "Here, please just take our weapons so that we can kill the Ukronazis faster". /jk

Standard disclaimer: Thank you.
Point one country in Europe (that includes western Russia) that's without neo-Nazi elements. Putin even has one or 2 in his inner circle.
