Similar as the Su-25 I expect. The expectation was that all of them would be gone inside two weeks in a full scale war with the Soviets in Eastern Europe. They had a job to do namely blunt the initial tank assault and they would die doing it.

UAV's have changed the face of warfare.
Pilots will now only be risked if there is no UAV available to do that job.
