I don't know, but Finlandization maintained peace in that region since WW2. Why blow the opportunity? Why; didn't Putin invade the "neutral countries"? Simple reason is that they didn't threaten Russia. Ukraine is different.

Ukraine threatened Russia by Russia invading Ukraine? Your lies are getting far less inventive Nico.

that is why we need negotiations, so that something like that doesn't occur.....
All that that west currently has to lose is face saving, because "negotiations with Russia'' is going to be seen by the usual crowd <insert @Cosmik Debris @buka001 and @ToxicBunny > as Neville Chamberlain talking to Hitler..
It's always Russia concerned about losing face - losing its strong he-man masculinity.

As to saving face, the Russian govt needs to remove its diktator from office and withdraw.
The rest of the world would then look to restore relations with Russia. With the diktator in office, very few nations would be interested in restoring relations with the putin federation.

Many countries in this world are run by dictators. We have no objection to Turkey who is a NATO member and Saudi Arabia that sells most of our oil. Or Sissi that was called Trump's favourite dictator..

In all fairness, he did mention early 30s, though I mist add I don't think the person using the account is the same person who was using it few years ago.

I've said the same a few times over the last couple of years, it's either a different person or a person who maybe had a traumatic head injury. Nico's only quirk used to be nuclear, none of the crazy rabbit hole conspiracies or being a Putin shill.

I am so flattered that MyBB is doing a psychoanalysis on me.

Comparisons bring perspective. Most of the world doesn't live in a functional democracy. We co-exist with dictators all the time.
Again, we are not talking about other nations - each has its own and differing issues

There has to be consistency in your approach, else you're just a hypocrite. Why aren't we invading Turkey for its invasions of Syria, illegal occupation of Northern Cyprus and terrorist war against the Kurdish minority? Reason being that there are better ways to deal with the country. It's not ideal, but it's better than going to war.

Erdogan doesn't imprison or murder his opponents.

No matter the amount of whataboutism you employ, my point remains.
Putin has to be removed from office for Russia to save face & exit.
