Two respected experts speak about the war.

Despite being high on their own fumes, I am glad that your experts agree that Ukraine won't be able to take Crimea.
What your video does reveal to me is that Poland, Luthiana and Estonia would love to get into the fight with Russia and settle old scores. The longer the war drags on, the more those nationalisms get emboldened.

That's not true. Polls showed that more than half the people there were not in favour of joining Russia or secession. Russia stirred up trouble in the only way they know.
I mostly agree with your post, except the above point. What is more than half? 51%? 75% 98%

As you know, the generally accepted percentage for a referendum outcome is 75%. Ukraine did not have this.

Under those conditions, when less than 75% of population agrees on an outcome, the only possible peaceful outcome is either separation OR neutrality. The freedom to make deals with both sides I believe would have been far more beneficial to Ua.

Until such time when there is a 75% majority. Then, and only then, they can have their "freedom of choice".

Here’s a story published this week by @holodmedia about Russian battalion volunteers passing through the towns of Totskoe Vtoroe (outside Orenburg) and Mulino (outside Nizhny Novgorod) during their crash-course basic training before deployment to Ukraine.

⚦ Many of the men signing up for this work are apparently terrorizing the residents in these towns before they’re sent to the frontlines, often turning their drunken gazes on the local women. There are patrol guards stationed in the towns, but they’re staffed by the volunteers themselves!

In early August, Dmitry Medvedev visited Totskoe to inspect the training of new troops (as you’d expect, there were apparently rapid street-sweeping efforts before his arrival). Sources told Holod Media that the influx of desperate-for-cash, morally questionable volunteers has been a nightmare for the people living in these towns. One local called them “the lowest social strata,” arguing that “even a monkey” can be trained to be a soldier, but not in the short time these volunteers spend preparing to fight in Ukraine.

One woman who spoke to Holod Media expressed confidence that these volunteers will be “re-educated” once they’re in the field and under active command, but their bad behavior while still in Russia and their lack of proper training seem to me more like a recipe for even worse conduct in Ukraine. If regular Russian soldiers were capable of the atrocities in places like Bucha and Andriivka, how much worse might it be under occupation by these undisciplined volunteer battalions?

When people belittle the sacrifices made by 1st responders, emergency related personel and their families I must just accept it ?
He opened that can of worms AGAIN in this thread.... Remove Nico from this forum and we wouldnt have 90% of the OT crap
