LOL. Of course when it's more closer to home it's more personal. Do you expect me to post about every bad thing on earth? Be realistic and don't come with this idealistic nonsense.
Fair enough and I apologize.

Still applies to most here though, who last met a live Russian or Ukrainian never.

I've never met any Rwandan, but stand with those who suffered during the civil war. I denounce African despots in the same manner I'd criticise Putin. I don't have to have met any Russian/Ukrainian to know what's happening there is wrong. Someone even said "but Ukrainians are racist!". Russians aren't any better. Or Serbians or Saudis. Or Chinese.

Do I have family close to the action? He he he, they love their tea.

I really don't see why a person should have to denounce every evil thing under the sun to have a right to post in this thread. What's happening in Ukraine, no matter what Ukraines's history has been like or who some of their heroes are, is a pure war of aggression. It obviously hits closer to home because most of us here are in some way connected to Europe and Europe is a central point in the world economy and geopolitics. If Europe goes into war or becomes destabilsed that will be felt everywhere, especially down here in SA.

Could this be a case of fragging instead of sabotage?
Just watching this on the news tonight here States side.
Apparently, guys from Tajikistan.

Stranger yet, the Russians are complaining about UA missiles, while at the same time bragging about their missile strikes.

The big news story tonight is the UA counter offensive. UA is expected to take Kherson - hopefully before winter hits hard.
