Sure. But you know visas can also be denied for mundane reasons such as lack of funds to support oneself, not having the right education or job offer, etc. Sometimes government officials can hurt one's feelings and that could translate into some sort of internet crusade.

I actually wasn't banned. I was only banned in one thread and that was during Covid when I was arguing about smokes and some people were quite upset. I was away, I'm busy sometimes or I travel and don't have time to post.

Is it Russians acting on their beliefs or is it a dictator forcing Russians to fight for his own ends? I don't think most well informed Russians support this war, they just don't have much of a choice when living in a state that is so authoritarian.

It is US being a belligerent actor interfering with internal politics of a country on Russias border.
