Lol people can cry all they want about the referendum. At the end of the day if Russia holds that territory it is theirs.
Oh yes I know that.

The point is, Russia and its supporters denied they would annex territory when the war began and much to the consternation of their cognitive dissonance, Russia has demonstrated it to be a nation of Imperialists.

Everything that the Balic states, US and UK had been warning abiut Russia, has been proven true.

I can only answer when I know what "democratic process" you referred to.
The people were consulted about the future of their area.
They made a decision, seems pretty democratic.
No. I called *your* clown post a bad faith premise, but I see we're on to the pretending words don't mean what they mean portion of your trolling.
Of course, my post referred to the referendum though.
Yours just quickly degenerated into tossing insults.

Russia does not hold complete territory in any of the 4 regions, some places all that's separating a village under Ukraine control and one under Russia is a wooded area a few km long. How exactly does Russia think it's going to work.

Russia officially won against the Imamate in 1864 but only succeeded in defeating the Chechen forces in 1877. During the Russian Civil War, Chechens and other Caucasian nations lived in independence for a few years before being Sovietized in 1921.

How far back do we go ?
I thought you support self-determination. What changed? Chechens clearly wanted independence in the early 90s.

Well if they can defeat Russia totally and protect any lands they inhabit, they are welcome to self determine.
Isnt this how borders and territories came into being ? The ability to keep other people out of your lands ?

Do you understand the concept of "free and fair" in democratic processes?
Yes.
Were there any massive amounts of voter intimidation or something which could skew the democratic process ?

So you support Ukraine defending their territory against the invaders? We're getting somewhere. Baby steps.

Didn't you bother to read the last 3 or 4 days of posts about the sham referendum before jumping in with your trolling?

Armed Chechens going door to door making people vote in public under their supervision is hardly free nor fair.

They are welcome to try and i have never said otherwise, I dont "support" Ukraine because of multiple reasons, but they can try, sure.
As are people participating in the referendums, entitled to choose and if they choose russia, benefit from protection of Russia.

So no massive amounts of your voter fraud then ? Just speculation, i see no problem voting in public with police around, who may or may not be armed, this happens in many places im sure.
Armed ? In a "warzone" ? Well i never !

He knows that.

He just thinks he is smart, because he thinks he can create a strawman where he gets opponents of the Imperialist Russians to "ignore" an election. So he can then claim that they are against democracy.

He thinks he could run MENSA with that level of logic, but pretty much everyone saw his ruse from a mile away.
