Oh, but we agree that Vlad is a lot like Stalin, so there is that.

Anyway...

I said the meat grinder was going to speed up, and Vlad is doing everything he can to make my post prophetic.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but conscripts are being told to buy whatever they need themselves... Mother Russia isn't supplying it's army with winter equipment... and when it supplies conscripts with weapons, they're ancient and likely to give the operator tetanus if they get a scratch using them.

So anyway, yeah, good luck to the vatniks with their Adidas track suits under their uniforms, and civvy sneakers keeping them warm in the coming winter war.

I think you are relying too heavily on fake news from twitter to overplay how bad it is, but I generally agree.

All these conscripts had mandatory services and basic training, they should still have uniforms for when they get called up.

I was a conscript who did mandatory services and basic training, and I absolutely, positively couldn't get into the uniform I last wore in 1989.

That isn't the point 'tho, is it?

If the last seven months have taught us anything it's that Russia can't effectively supply it's standing army logistically... Now, double the size of the army with conscription and watch those issues compound exponentially.

Your vatnik brothers are in for a world of hurt.
