The chump change will stop being chump change soon - the battle chests are running empty.
Russia supplying weapons to Ukraine will merely prolong the war. Only issue is Western weapons are better so win win for Ukraine.

The U.S certainly pumped up their military during the boom years thanks to the dollar being the world reserve currency. That is being threatened. Why do you think countries want nuclear weapons? To serve as the ultimate deterrent. If my family is going to be exterminated by an enemy, what is stop me from exterminating as many of the enemy as I can? I have nothing to lose.

Fascinating interpretation of today's geopolitical realities. Thrilling, even.

You should seriously consider giving lectures on the subject. Perhaps at Oxford university.

This is a daft comparison. It's like comparing the number of arms of the military to the number of arms of a single police station. NATO is an alliance comprising multiple countries. To compare that to a single country is just plain stupid. If you want to draw a comparison then rather compare the arms of NATO to what is likely to be the Russian alliance should yhings go horribly south, Russia, China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran and several African countries. Not to mention some other Eastern block countries like Belarus. If we look at other countries like India then they are more likely to be on Russia's side than NATO even with the little tiff with China where the hit each other with sticks. India will not side with any alliance that includes Pakistan due to their history.

My point was that NATO coffers are not "running dry". They are in fact close to 100% full.

Russia on the other hand...

Would love to see an updated version of that infographic.
