Well the US got away with far worse in Iraq. Have Bush, Cheney etc ever been tried in the Hague?
At least Putin is actually going in and protecting the 12 million or so Russians who live in eastern "Ukraine".
Putin isn't protecting them.

Many of them have been press ganged into fighting this war. Prior to Feb 2022, the conflict in the Donbass had wound down considerably with very few deaths. Most deaths were from incidental deaths caused by Unexploded Ordinance.

The US got away with far worse in Iraq in comparison to the Nazi's?

Seriously? That is actually a fsck off disgusting claim to make, even for someone who is so far up Vlad rectal cavity he can't see the sun anymore.
**EDIT** Actually even if you compare it to the actions of the US (and coalition forces) in Iraq, its a fscking deluded claim to make.

Also Putin is protecting the 12 million Russian who live in eastern Ukraine? Protecting them buy shelling the living shyte out of where they live, conscripting them for this fight or executing them and stealing their children?

Was comparing the illegal, wicked US invasion of Iraq (based on a pack of lies - WMD) to Russia's operation in the Russian part of Ukraine (where they actually have legitimate interests). Keep your hair on.

Both wars had illegitimate reasons to start.

The fact that Russia have taken control of Ukrainian Gas fields and now extract Ukrainian Gas for Russian profit, says a lot about what Russia's real motivations are.

How the hell did you get to that? "The Russian part of Ukraine"??

Is that like the African part of the USA?

Important reading for you and the others here to get up to speed on the recent history and geography of the region.

The relationship between Russia and the Ukraine (especially eastern Ukraine) is obviously much more interwoven than the USA's relationship to Africa (or Iraq):

"All over" when? And how? Even if the who entire world ganged up on Russia right now, they have nukes. Putin will never see the inside of a courtroom.

You mean you CAN'T answer...

Oh look, it's starting to fall apart already. Medvedev has sought asylum in Norway:

Mr Osechkin told the BBC that Wagner supplied Medvedev with about 30-40 troops per week, many of them convicts recruited from Russian prisons.

Much of the most intense fighting in Ukraine in the past six months has occurred in the Donbas, and Wagner is believed to be heavily involved in two of the bloodiest battles - in Soledar and Bakhmut.

Medvedev's lawyer in Norway, Brynjulf Risnes, told the BBC that Medvedev witnessed a host of war crimes - including seeing "deserters being executed" by the Wagner Group's internal security service.

And Mr Osechkin said Medvedev decided to leave Wagner after witnessing the group's "terroristic methods".
"He gave to me testimony about what he saw in the war," he said, "and how the special forces of Wagner Group kill Russians who don't want to fight against Ukraine."

Putin stands accused of a litany of crimes, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, and even genocide. Civilians, including children, continue to be targeted on a daily basis.

All the talk about how Russia is fighting NATO and degrading NATO.

A little video on how NATO carries out its air operations in a war. Operation Desert Storm.

If NATO was actually fighting this war, it would have ended for Russia a long time ago.

There was the small matter of the Minsk accords that the Ukranians kept breaking. Interesting that subsequent revelations from Merkel and Hollande have revealed that there was never any intention (from Ukraine and France and Germany) to honour the Minsk agreements. They were just a ruse so that Ukraine could buy time and arm itself for war.

Cool, can you share the exact quote where Merkel and Hollande say: "I never intended for Germany/France to honour the Minsk Agreement"?

Did you miss the part about how Russia has expropriated Ukrainian gas fields and profits from these? Where did the Minsk Agreement say that Russia could do this?

So glad that you popped onto the thread here to educate us about Ukraine.

We have been waiting for someone like you to come along. Someone who knows what he's talking about. Someone who's views are based on facts and logic. Someone with true wisdom.

I'm pretty sure France and Germany were just mediators and not signatories to the Minsk agreement.
