Okay I will tell you how the US being on Ukrainians side and supplying them with weapons capable of targeting Moscow is escalating the war.
Currently Moscow has not been a target, if it is targeted that increases the theater of operations and escalates the war by definition by including more targets and people and longer range weapons.
By definition if Ukraine just lost without US help the war would be over the opposite of an escalation.

You are aware when the Russians were running away from Kherson that the US restricted Ukraine from using HIMIRS which would have caused maximum damage, Ukraine only used artillery and loitering drones. Hardly US wants to obliterate Russia.
